Breaking Down The Ending of ‘Havoc’
Apr 26, 2025
Whew! So that was violent, huh? I'm assuming you've already watched the new Netflix action movie Havoc, if you're here reading about the ending and trying to make sure you have it straight when it comes to who survived and who met a bloody, gory end.
Before we get into the ending, a refresher on the premise: Havoc, from director Gareth Evans, stars Tom Hardy as Walker, a detective who has fallen on hard times following a drug bust gone tragically wrong. Now, Walker is being blackmailed by a corrupt politician, Lawrence Beaumont (Forest Whitaker). They make a deal that if Walker saves his son, Charlie (Justin Cornwell), who has turned to a life of crime, he will forget that he knows about Walker's involvement in the death of a fellow cop.
Walker teams up with another officer, Ellie (Jessie Mei Li), to investigate a shooting that involves a criminal organization and cops who are actually in on it. There's a bunch of overlapping stories and several scenes in which somany people are shooting at each other and whipping out cleavers, performing martial arts, and hitting each other with champagne bottles. So, if you feel like you've been hit by a washing machine crashing through a windshield after watching Havoc (IYKYK), here's where everyone ends up.
