Another action-packed series of Celebrity Big Brother is due to come to an end on Friday (25 April), as the final of this year's season takes place live on ITV1.

AJ Odudu and Will Best will reveal which of the remaining housemates has received the most amount of votes from the public, resulting in the contestant becoming the 24th CBB winner.

The most recent CBB champion is David Potts, famed for starring in Ibiza Weekender. He walked away as the winner of the 2024 series, which was the first to air on ITV1 after the broadcaster rebooted the iconic reality show.

Before this, CBB last aired in 2015 on Channel 4, with ex-Coronation Street favourite Ryan Thomas being crowned the winner of the series.

The civilian edition of Big Brother sees winners typically walk away with a huge cash prize, often around £100,000, as well as newfound fame and work opportunities.

However, with the CBB housemates already being in the public eye, the prize is very different.

In the past, the CBB prize was a donation of £50,000 given to the celebrity's charity of choice. Yet, this was scrapped by Channel 5 in 2018 and ITV confirmed they would not be offering this option either when they rebooted the show.
