The Basics

Constructed with mainly recycled materials, including microfiber, polyester, and rubber, the ReEmber shoe promised to be water-repellent, cushioned for extra comfort, and designed for all-day wear.
On Teva's website, the women's version comes in three colors (black/birch, feather grey, light multi) while the men's version only has two patterns (dark gull grey, dark olive). Lest you worry that the kids are left out, think again! There's a version for littles that comes in sizes 1K thru 13K and three colors (polarity multi, serenity multi, dark shadow).
Pro tip: If you don't love those colors, there are more shades available on Amazon and they do tend to be on sale there.
I went with black/birch for myself and scored a pair in serenity multi for my 5-year-old, who agreed to do some Very Important testing with me.
My five year old found the kid’s version of the ReEmber slip-ons as easy to use and as comfortable as I did.

Are ReEmber Shoes Waterproof?

We live in Oregon, which means any camp shoes worth buying (especially at an $80 price point) need to be truly water-repellent. We camped at a spot near the coast, so even if it's not pouring, it'll inevitably still be misty and damp in the mornings.
