The Nike Dunk Low ‘Particle Pink’ is ridiculously cute – and that's just a fact. In the decades that this basketball sneaker's been around, we've been blessed with some insanely successful colour combos. But have we ever seen one as sweet as this? No. No we have not.

The Dunk is turning 40 this year, and to celebrate, Nike has been dropping some really, really nice pairs like the ‘Light Khaki’ and the ‘Soft Pearl’ and, yes, the ‘Particle Pink.’ Decked out in full leather (this design is apparently more premium compared to all of the other Dunks), this trainer works on top of a power pink base and is overlaid by ‘Light Orewood Brown’ panels throughout. A big Swoosh is whacked across the sides, while additional branding is embroidered on the tongue tag and heel badge.

The midsole has been left nice and clean. But because this is a basketball shoe at the end of the day (and a very good one at that), it's infused with bouncy rubber to keep you light on your feet. The Dunk is then finished off with a pastel pink outsole that makes everything even lovelier.

The Dunk Low isn't the only silhouette that's blushing this season. Earlier this month, Nike dropped a Barbie pink Sense 96 and they brought back the elusive Air Max 95 ‘Pink Foam.’ Other brands like Adidas and New Balance and Puma have also been following suit, so expect rosy runners to come through all over the place.
