One for the cosy gamers
With Nintendo seemingly leaving Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the dust, fans have been searching for something to fill the void ever since.
Luckily, we may have found the answer.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons could've lived a much longer life with additional post-launch support!
Getting us through the very first lockdown, Animal Crossing: New Horizons couldn’t have come at a better time but with Nintendo no longer offering any updates or content for the social simulation title, fans have had to look elsewhere.
Developed by rokaplay, Sugardew Island combines the best of Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing to bring us a cozy farming game where players will be in charge of running their own farm shop.
By taking care of your farm and livestock, you will be able to sell your wares to the Forest Folk and as your customer base grows, you will soon be able to upgrade the island and bring life to it once more.
In Sugardew Island, a tiny team of developers have worked on a cozy, farming sim which will see players need to care for animals and build bonds, grow crops and gather resources, complete quests to restore the island and experience over 15 hours of relaxing gameplay.
Inspired by the original Harvest Moon games, players can expect “relaxing, pressure-free gameplay with no time limits” and the game itself is designed “for short, enjoyable play sessions” so you will not need to put in the grind in order to achieve anything here.
