Dawson's Creek legend swaps acting for new career and looks very different
May 3, 2025
Kerr Smith is best known for his role as Jack McPhee on Dawson's Creek, but he looks unrecognisable now as he's made a huge career change since his days in Capeside
Over two decades since Dawson's Creek ruled the late nineties television scene, one of its stars is barely recognisable after delving into wellness for his latest endeavour.
The series premiered in 1998 and ran for six seasons until 2003. Despite only being on air for five years, the high school tales from Capeside have left a lasting impression on an entire generation.
Kerr Smith didn't appear in the first season, with his character Jack McPhee only introduced in season two, rapidly becoming one of the show's main characters.
Jack relocated to Capeside along with his twin sister, joining the high school late. However, the character is most remembered for his struggle with his sexuality, eventually coming out as gay and making history as the first openly gay character to kiss on primetime TV.
Nearly two decades after the show ended, the 53 year old can be seen embracing the great outdoors, camping, cycling, and skiing around the mountains of Utah, which he now calls home, reports Surrey Live.
He's traded his once iconic brown hair for a silver fox look, marking a significant departure from his 90s heartthrob image.
