Susan Boyle first won over the nation in 2009 with her unforgettable audition on Britain's Got Talent. The West Lothian woman left both the panel and viewers at home spellbound with her enchanting performance of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables.

Following her viral moment, which catapulted her to international fame and she say, Susan was widely expected to clinch the title and secure a coveted spot on the Royal Variety Performance. However, she ultimately came second to dance group Diversity, featuring the now well-known dancing siblings Ashley and Jordan Banjo.

Despite her rapid ascent to stardom since her first appearance on the talent show, the now-64 year old has remained grounded and deeply grateful for her success and has recently celebrated the anniversary of her first audition on the talent show. She recently posted on Instagram to celebrate 16 years since her appearance on Britain's Got Talent. Susan shared: "16 years ago today, my @bgt audition first aired on UK TV, and my life changed forever!"
