Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour hit with empty seats as fans claim they 'know why'
May 4, 2025
Beyoncé has officially kicked off her Cowboy Carter Tour, after the release of her latest album. However, fans have been left confused as the SoFi Stadium was left with empty seats
Beyoncé has launched her Cowboy Carter Tour, following the massive success of her Renaissance World Tour two years ago.
However, it appears that the 43-year-old superstar is facing challenges in selling out her shows this time around, with fans noticing vacant seats and sections of the stadium draped with blankets - and they have their theories. Beyoncé, a household name, stands as one of the most streamed and beloved artists globally.
The songstress boasts an impressive net worth of $800 million, as reported by Forbes in 2023. Her latest musical venture, the album Cowboy Carter, is taking her on a whirlwind tour of 32 cities across the US and Europe, including stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New Jersey, London, Paris, Houston, Atlanta, Washington, and Las Vegas.
Interestingly, London tops the list with the most dates, hosting a total of six shows. The Cowboy Carter tour kicked off on April 28, 2025, at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Each concert spans two hours and 45 minutes, featuring tracks from her latest album, along with fan-favorite classics like Crazy in Love and Formation.
However, despite her immense popularity and staggering wealth, footage from fans revealed numerous empty seats - contrary to the high expectations and the triumph of her past tours. Images and videos circulating on social media showed unoccupied seats, a surprising revelation considering her previous Renaissance World Tour raked in a whopping 388,560 million, setting a record for the highest-grossing tour by a Black artist.
