Cape Town – South African media personality Minnie Dlamini has publicly affirmed her independence amid renewed scrutiny of her personal life, declaring in a True Love magazine interview that her identity is not defined by her past relationships.

This comes after her recent breakup with plastic surgeon Dr Brian Monaisa.

Dr Brian publicly stated recently that their split was due to “purely personal” reasons and dismissed rumours of infidelity.

But in a recent episode, podcaster Macgyver “MacG” Mukwevho , suggesting she struggles to maintain relationships and implying offensive claims about her hygiene — comments widely condemned as disrespectful and inappropriate.

“Bro, I’m telling you man. There’s got to be something wrong with her; maybe her coochie smells or something. You know this happens, man, it happens, especially with the hot girls,” said MacG.

The comments sparked widespread public outrage and condemnation from both fans and media figures.

Entertainment channel Moja Love criticised MacG’s behaviour, while Dr Brian defended Dlamini, calling out the hosts for targeting successful women.

Despite the controversy, Dlamini remains composed and has not directly responded, letting her interview speak for itself.

“My career has never been, and will never be, defined by my relationship status. I was Minnie Dlamini before the marriage, and I will be Minnie Dlamini long after my divorce,” she said.
