Ms. Rachel has a behind-the-scenes and on-camera sidekick who just so happens to be her “best friend.” And he's none other than her talented husband, Aron Accurso.

Ms. Rachel recently shared a sweet TikTok video about how the couple met and when she knew he was her soulmate.

The former teacher, whose real name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, has been married to Aron Accurso, a singer and composer, since 2016. Their son, Thomas, who was born in 2018, inspired their YouTube show that now has more than 11 million subscribers. The educational channel, which incorporates games, music and language skills, is a favorite of kids in preschool and kindergarten and even younger.

With Ms. Rachel’s new toy line (a Ms. Rachel doll!), available in Sept. 29, let’s get to know her “soulmate and co-creator” husband, aka, Mr. Rachel.

Aron attended St. Olaf College in Minnesota where he sang in choirs and earned a BA in Music Theory/Composition, according to his website.

“Music, for me, is a way to reach somebody’s soul,” Aron said in an interview with St. Olaf. “It creates empathy, it creates joy. It’s a wonderful way to connect. Music is life.”

Aron’s website shows his other career peaks: working as an associate musical director/associate conductor on Broadway’s “Aladdin” and his involvement in other Broadway shows such as, “Sister Act,” “The Little Mermaid” and “Billy Elliot.”
