After almost two months of its theatrical release, John Abraham starrer The Diplomat is all set to arrive on the OTT space. John plays Indian diplomat J.P. Singh, and the film received positive response from the audience and critics alike upon its release. Here's where and when you can watch The Diplomat on OTT.

The Diplomat will start streaming on OTT giant, Netflix, from May 9, at 1:30 PM (IST), as per reports.

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, John revealed how his film was rejected by OTT platforms because they didn't find it good.

He said, "The loss of faith happens from the studio. So when a studio sees a film it goes and does a round of OTTs, because a studio may want to mitigate the risk by sending it to an OTT channel. Some OTT channels have refused The Diplomat because they didn't find it great. They didn't find it good. They rejected the film; they threw it out."

Directed by Shivam Nair and written by Ritesh Shah, The Diplomat is based on a true story. John Abraham played the real-life Indian diplomat J.P. Singh, who embarks a risky mission to rescue the ‘Daughter of India’.
