5 Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Bringing the Stands to consoles
If there was one word to describe the anime Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, it would probably be outlandish. The same goes for the fighting game, which was based on the anime series and manga from Capcom and released in 1998 for arcades. The game was then ported to the Sega Dreamcast and original PlayStation a year later. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure was also developed by the same team that had made Street Fighter 3, one of the most influential fighting games, with many sprites and animations being very detailed. The plot of the game was based on the third main arc of the manga, Stardust Crusaders, and featured many characters from that part of the series. The game also had series creator Hirohiko Araki as a consultant.
