Honor 400 series
After introducing the Honor 400 Lite smartphone last month, Honor is gearing up to launch the Honor 400 lineup soon. The company has announced the launch date for the series, and it is likely to include the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro. These smartphones will succeed the Honor 300 series from last year and will come with an advanced camera setup.
Honor 400, Honor 400 Pro: Launch timeline, expected specifications
Honor has confirmed that the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro launch will take place on May 22 at 4 PM BST (8:30 PM IST) in London. The company is currently accepting pre-registrations for these smartphones, and Honor’s UK website has teased that both these phones will be available for sale soon after the release.
Honor has also shared a teaser video, which reveals the back design of these devices. The Honor 400 can be seen with a dual rear camera setup, while the Honor 400 Pro is sporting a triple rear camera setup. Previous leaks and rumours suggest that both these handsets will feature a 50MP selfie camera and come with a 5,300mAh battery.
In terms of display, the Honor 400 is expected to have a 6.55-inch AMOLED display, while the Honor 400 Pro is likely to boast a slightly bigger 6.7-inch AMOLED display. Both smartphones are expected to come with a 200 MP primary and a 12 MP ultrawide sensor. However, the 400 Pro is tipped to come with an additional 50MP telephoto camera. If we talk about their processors, the Honor 400 will be backed by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, and the Honor 400 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
