Google Gemini is expanding beyond smartphones to smartwatches, Android Auto, Google TV, and Android XR.

Gemini will be coming to Wear OS smartwatches in the coming months, allowing users to interact with Gemini without their smartphone in hand.

Android Auto is set to get a big upgrade thanks to Gemini, making it easier to plan routes and get all the information you need while driving -- entirely hands-free.

Google Gemini is one of the most advanced AI models in the world and has become a cornerstone of many recent Android device releases, such as the Google Pixel 9 series and the Galaxy S25 series . Now, Google is pulling the curtain on Gemini's next big leap.

During its recent Android Show: I/O Edition, Google announced that Gemini will soon expand to even more Android devices in the coming months, starting with smartwatches, Android Auto, Google TV, and Android XR.

"We're expanding Gemini way beyond phones, bringing a truly smart and helpful assistant to all your devices. Whether you are on a run, in the car or even on the couch, Gemini is ready to help you," Google said in a recent blog post.
