The defender of Ghanaian descent has parted ways with the German third-tier outfit, with a move to second division side FC Kaiserslautern set to be completed in the summer

German-born Ghanaian centre-back Maxwell Gyamfi has severed ties with 3. Liga side VfL Osnabrück after spending three seasons together in the German football contests.

The 25-year-old has made over 100 appearances for The Purple-Whites since joining them from Hamburger SV ll in 2022.

ln bidding a farewell to Gyamfi, those in charge of the Stadion an der Bremer Brücke have said via their club's official website as they release four on-loan players at the end of this football campaign: ''In addition to the loan players, Maxwell Gyamfi also received a farewell. In the summer of 2022, the defender moved from the second team of Hamburger SV in the Regionalliga to VfL and immediately became a regular starter.
