Honor 400 Pro Review
May 21, 2025
Flagship mid-ranger.
For AED 2,499, the HONOR 400 Pro sits firmly in the mid-range category — at least in terms of pricing. It’s cheaper than Samsung’s latest Galaxy models and significantly more affordable than even the entry-level iPhone 16. But what HONOR’s done here is blur the line between mid-range and flagship. True, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 isn’t the fastest chip on the market and doesn’t quite match the top-tier performance of its rivals, but in everyday use, it’s hard to notice any meaningful difference. The phone feels fast, fluid, and reliable. And in almost every other area, HONOR goes all in — the AI features aren’t just filler, the OLED display is sharp and vibrant, the build quality feels premium, and the camera system is easily one of the best at this price. Add a massive 6000mAh battery with 100W charging and it’s clear: while the price tag may say mid-range, the experience tells a different story.
Pricing and Availability
The Honor 400 Pro, and the Honor 400, will be both available in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and in other parts of the Middle East from May 30th. The Honor 400 Pro is priced at AED 2,499, while the Honor 400 will retail at AED 1,399. Pre-orders for both are available directly from Honor.
Design, Display and Features
I’m usually the type that scrunches his nose over overtly flashy camera modules, but the one on the HONOR 400 Pro is genuinely easy on the eyes. The oblong layout, accented with a silver trim, adds a sleek flair that flows seamlessly into the rest of the device.
