Young Indian opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal was part of the Rajasthan Royals squad in IPL. He played all 14 league matches for the Jaipur-based franchise and, with the help of six half-centuries, scored 559 runs to finish as the leading run-getter. In RR’s last league match of the ongoing season, Jaiswal scored 36 runs from 19 balls against Chennai Super Kings at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday (May 20) in the 188-run chase and helped them sign off the campaign with a memorable win by 6 wickets.

After Rajasthan Royals finished their IPL 2025 campaign with 8 points from 14 matches, Yashasvi took to Instagram to share a post in which he thanked ‘RR for everything’. However, his caption has raised doubts in some fans’ minds that the left-handed batter could leave the franchise in the coming months.

“Thank you, Rajasthan Royals, for everything. Not the season we hoped for, but continue to be grateful for our journey together. On to the next challenge and whatever the future brings, YBJ 64," Jaiswal posted.

Jaiswal has been associated with RR in the IPL since the 2020 season. In 67 matches played so far, Jaiswal has amassed a total of 2,166 runs. He is the third batter after Ajinkya Rahane and Jos Buttler to score 500 runs twice in an IPL season for the inaugural edition winners.
