[1] Though she doesn’t have the 4-7 octave range of other singers, Tyler’s raspy voice brings the passion—and breath support—to match the over-the-top melodrama of the music. Which is good, because there are so many words in the verses that there’s very little time to breathe. And Tyler stays up in her upper register for most of the song, making it exhausting to perform.
