Jun 3, 2025
Ryan Coogler’s sleepy vampire thriller Sinners dominated the box office this spring, earning more than $316 million worldwide. Now, two months after its theatrical release, the film is finally available on digital platforms for at-home viewing. Keep reading to find out how to watch Sinners for your next horror movie night.
Directed by Coogler (Black Panther, Creed), Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan as Smoke and Stack, twin brothers on a mission to leave their troubled lives behind and “return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back,” according to the synopsis. Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller and Delroy Lindo also appear in the film.
According to Warner Bros., Sinners scored the biggest opening for an original film since 2019’s Us and is the first horror movie in over 35 years to earn an “A” CinemaScore. The film also boasts a 97% critics score from 367 reviews and a 96% audience rating from over 25,000 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.
“What a blood rush to exit Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” aware that you’ve seen not merely a great movie but an eternal movie, one that will transcend today’s box office and tomorrow’s awards to live on as a forever favorite,” Los Angeles Times critic Amy Nicholson wrote in her glowing review.
