Can You See Who Saved Your TikTok?
Jul 2, 2025
As TikTok continues to grow in popularity, creators are becoming increasingly interested in how their content performs beyond just views and likes. Among the many questions users often ask is whether it’s possible to see who saved their videos. Saving a TikTok—either by downloading it directly or adding it to favorites—is a common way users engage with content they like. But does the platform offer transparency on who exactly is saving your work?

Understanding Saves on TikTok

TikTok users interact with content in several ways: liking, commenting, sharing, favoriting, and downloading. While likes and comments are public and easily trackable, favorites and downloads are more private. When someone taps the bookmark icon to save your video to their favorites or downloads it to their device, it means they want to return to it later. For creators, this can signal that the content is engaging or valuable in some way.
However, TikTok does not notify creators when someone saves their video. You won’t receive alerts for favorites or downloads, and there is no section in the app that provides a list of users who have saved your videos. TikTok currently prioritizes user privacy when it comes to these kinds of interactions.

Can You Track Saves Through Analytics?

While TikTok does not show you who saved your videos, creators with TikTok Pro or Business accounts have access to a feature called “Video Analytics.” This tool provides data such as total video views, likes, shares, comments, and the number of times a video was favorited. However, it does not disclose who favorited or downloaded the video—only the number of users who took that action.
