Nathan Louis Fernand, a West End performer, has made headlines after being seen kissing West Side Story actress Rachel Zegler on July 6 in London. The photographs, taken at Sabrina Carpenter's BST Hyde Park concert, show the couple holding hands and kissing, possibly confirming a budding romance.

So, who is Nathan Louis Fernand? Though not yet a household name, the dancer and actor has slowly increased his prominence on the London stage, with appearances in Magic Mike Live, Hamilton, and, most recently, Evita at the London Palladium.

Fernand, who was originally trained in musical theatre and classical dance, is well-known on the theatre circuit for his versatility. He was part of the ensemble in Magic Mike Live, a successful London performance co-directed by Channing Tatum. Prior to it, he had been in productions such as The Lion King and & Juliet, where he was recognised for his athletic stage presence.

Fernand joined the production of Evita in 2025 as a swing, a position that required extreme flexibility and covered many ensemble roles. Castmates and creatives have commended his performance, despite the fact that he had previously been unknown to the public.
