Sam Hunt and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, have had their fair share of ups and downs.
The couple first met in the early 2000s and dated on and off for several years before tying the knot in 2017. Five years into their marriage, Fowler filed for divorce from Hunt, alleging “inappropriate marital conduct.” Hunt did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment at the time.
However, the pair reconciled two months later and welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Lucy Louise, that May. They went on to welcome a son, Lowry Lee, in October 2023, and another son, Weyman Allen, in May 2025.
Although Hunt has never addressed their brief split publicly, he has reflected on their journey through his music, most notably in the 2024 single “Locked Up.”

Not much is known about Fowler’s life before she met Hunt, but she’s originally from a small town in Alabama called Montevallo. The country singer named his debut album after his future wife’s hometown, explaining that many of the songs on it were inspired by their relationship.
