Miss South Africa fans and supporters have also been waiting in anticipation to find out more about developments around this year's pageant.
What really caught the public’s attention recently was the announcement that the organisation's CEO, Stephanie Weil, has stepped down.
"The organisers of Miss South Africa wish Stephanie Weil everything of the best with her new endeavours, as an agreement has been reached that Ms Weil will be leaving the organisation after many years as CEO of Miss South Africa," a statement from the Miss South Africa organisation read.
"Ms Weil will be staying on for as long as is required to ensure a smooth transition to new leadership and to ensure that the best interests of the Miss South Africa organisation are served."
The Miss South Africa pageant extended its gratitude to Weil for her work at the organisation.
According to News24, the organisation assured the public that although the announcement might seem sudden, it is still "making good progress" with this year's pageant.
Organisers assured fans that the 2025 pageant will be a success.
Despite entries for the pageant closing in April this year, the organisation is yet to announce when the pageant will take place.
