Pastor Ng'ang'a Jokes About Claims the World Will End on August 2
Jul 15, 2025
Apostle James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre has once again left Kenyans in stitches, this time over viral claims suggesting the world will end on August 2.
Addressing the bizarre prophecy during a recent sermon, the outspoken preacher dismissed the doomsday talk with his tsignature wit and no-nonsense attitude.
Is the world ending on August 2?
“Ati dunia inaisha tarehe mbili?” Ng’ang’a posed, before launching into a fiery rebuttal. “No one knows the day, even Jesus said that he also does not know when that day will be.”
The man of God did not stop there. He went on to throw shade at the individual behind the prediction, urging his congregation to be cautious about self-proclaimed prophets peddling fear.
In the same breath, Ng’ang’a also took aim at Maria Mama wa Yesu, a woman from Busia who recently went viral after claiming to be the mother of Jesus Christ.
“Hizo ni maroho tu. That is nonsense. Even these prophets that you see around, don’t mind them, some of them are conmen," Ng'ang'a taught sternly.
The preacher’s humorous takedown and unwavering stance on the matter quickly made rounds on social media, with many netizens amused by his bold delivery and sharp jabs.
