So, you've just picked up Ready Or Not for Xbox Series X|S (or PS5) and you're wondering how to activate crossplay? It's actually pretty simple, but there are a couple of things you need to do as crossplay is actually turned off by default.

Firstly, load up the game so you're at the main menu where it says "new game", "singleplayer" and "multiplayer". Underneath those three buttons, you'll see the word "Options" - press A on Xbox to go into that menu.

In here, you'll see a bunch of different things that can be changed, and the tab at the top should be set to "gameplay". Scroll all the way down using your left analogue stick until you get to "Link Epic Account" and "Cross-play".

Firstly, turn on crossplay by hitting the "disabled" button and changing it to "enabled". Then, if you want the ability to play Ready or Not with friends across Xbox, PS5 and PC, you'll need to link an Epic Games account as well.

Once your account is linked, go back to the Ready or Not main menu screen and you should see something in the bottom-right corner that says "Open EGS Overlay". On Xbox, you can do this by pressing the View button (formerly known as the "Back" button) which will bring up a list of your Epic Games friends that you can invite to Ready or Not. Alternatively, you can press the RB button to find the "Add Friends" tab and search for people manually.
