Jul 17, 2025
My Hero Academia Season 8 release date is now confirmed, with the final chapter of Izuku Midoriya’s story set to begin this fall. In a new update from the anime’s official channels, the studio revealed when the highly anticipated season will air and teased what fans can expect as the Final War arc reaches its climax.
My Hero Academia Season 8’s October release date revealed
My Hero Academia: Final Season will officially premiere on October 4.
Episodes will air every Saturday at 5:30 p.m. JST on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV Network in Japan. Crunchyroll is expected to simulcast the season as part of its Fall 2025 lineup, with English-subtitled episodes releasing the same day they will air in Japan. But the English dub release date remains unannounced.
The announcement arrived via the franchise’s official social channels and included a new key visual. The image features Deku battling Shigaraki, described as the “most dangerous villain.” The season adapts the climax of the Final War arc, which began in Season 7.
