Immigration Officer Killed by Speeding Car While Helping Stranded Driver

A tragic accident near the Accra Arts Centre on Saturday night has claimed the life of an Immigration Officer, Japhet Boateng Kyei.
According to reports, Officer Kyei was knocked down by a speeding car after he stopped to help a stranded driver. Eyewitnesses say the respected officer had pulled over to assist a motorist in distress.
After helping, he tried to cross the road back to his car but was hit by a speeding Hyundai sedan.
The impact killed him on the spot, cutting short what many have described as a brave and selfless act.
