Thierry Henry In Search Of Experienced Defenders, Set To Raid Chelsea, Arsenal

Thierry Henry is ready to raid former club Arsenal and their Premier League rivals Chelsea as he looks to add experience to his Monaco defence, reports in France claim.
The French World Cup winner has endured a difficult start to life as manager of the Ligue 1 side, winning just two of his first 12 games in charge with his side languishing in 19th place in France’s top flight.
Concerned by his team’s leaky defence, Henry believes he needs some more experienced figures in his squad to help steady the ship.
And he has an ambitious list of targets, according to Nice Matin.
Arsenal centre-back Laurent Koscielny, who has recently returned from a long-term injury, is among those wanted by Henry, while Gary Cahill – who is widely tipped to leave Chelsea in January – is viewed as a realistic potential option.
Former Real Madrid defender Pepe, 35, is also being targeted, after leaving Turkish giants Besiktas. The Portugal international is also being chased by Wolves.
Former Liverpool centre-half Martin Skrtel has also been mentioned as a possible target, although he has been linked with a short-term move to Barcelona.
