Embattled RnB singer Robert Sylvester Kelly, alias R Kelly has been arrested.
The musician was arrested on Friday, February 22, night after turning himself in at a Chicago police station.
Kelly turned himself in following claims he sexually abused four girls, with three said to be minors.
Police had earlier on issued an arrest warrant for the 52 years-old singer.
As reported by different media earlier, prosecutors are charging him with ten counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
According to an attorney named Avenatti representing one of the victims, plans are underway to go for Kelly's managers, agents and lawyers who are said to have stood idly and protected the musician as he abused minors.
The singer has been dealing with decades of claims of sexual abuse against women and teenagers most who were below the age of consent.
However, he has never been convicted and previously denied the allegations.
Kelly risks a maximum sentence of about 30 to 40 years should he be found guilty since the criminal sexual abuse charge against him fall under the class 2 felony in Illinois.
