The Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji was left stranded at Continental House, Nairobi, after arriving for a meeting with MPs only to find empty chairs.
Noordin was scheduled to meet the National Assembly Justice & Legal Affairs Committee on Monday, February 25, to make a presentation on the ODPP 2019/2020 Budget Policy Statement at 10am.
The DPP was forced wait for the MPs who arrived at the venue way past 10am.
Many Kenyans online were left throwing tantrums at the lawmakers accusing them of laxity and derailing the Nordin's duty of fighting graft.
Other Kenyans could not hold onto the thought that the legislators could still be paid for an entire day's seating allowance despite the fact they arrived at the meeting late.
