DAN'S THE MAN Claudio Ranieri eyes reunion with Chelsea flop at new club Roma
Bynta|March. 13, 2019
New Roma boss Claudio Ranieri wants to be reunited with Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater in Italy, according to reports.
The pair had a successful time working together at Leicester City, achieving the unthinkable when the Foxes sealed a historic Premier League triumph back in 2016.
The former Manchester United academy product, who joined the Blues in a £35million deal back in August 2017, is deemed surplus to requirements by boss Maurizio Sarri.

Calciomercato.com report Roma have already enquired about the 29-year-old midfielder’s availability following a recommendation by Ranieri.
The Italian publication further claim that Ranieri regards Drinkwater as a potential back-up for Daniele De Rossi.
Drinkwater has failed to make a competitive appearance for Chelsea this season, and looks set to leave in the summer.
