Milpitas: Two fires burning in hills near Calaveras Reservoir

MILPITAS — Two small fires are burning in the hills east of Milpitas.
The fires, which started off of Calaveras Road near the Calaveras Reservoir, covered about 10 acres in total as of noon Saturday, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protections.
Fire crews are now fighting the blazes.
Grey smoke from the fires and a helicopter circling overhead could be seen from Downtown San Jose.
