Peter Chege charged with stealing calendars in Nairobi

A man has been charged with stealing three bales of calendars from Easy Coach bus company in Nairobi.
According to the charge sheet seen by Citizen Digital on Friday, Peter Chege stole the calendars said to be worth Ksh.18,000.
The incident is said to have occurred between 10-11 December last year.
Chege was arrested on January 7 after the bus company filed a complaint at Railways Police Station.
On Friday, he was charged with stealing contrary to Section 268 (1) as read with Section 275 of the Penal Code.
Six witnesses had testified against him at the Milimani Law Courts.
He pleaded not guilty and was released on cash bail of Ksh.10,000.
