Arsenal ‘keen’ on Moussa Dembele transfer as Arteta sees Lyon striker as Aubameyang or Lacazette replacement
Jul 8, 2020
ARSENAL are reportedly “very interested” in Lyon’s Moussa Dembele as a potential replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette.
The Gunners are desperate to hang on to their 23-goal top scorer Aubameyang but their captain is now in the final 12 months of his contract.
Barcelona are one of the clubs keen on signing him this summer, but Mikel Arteta remains hopeful he can convince the skipper to stay.
Meanwhile Lacazette , who has ten goals this term, has Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus all plotting a move for him.
And according to Footmercato , if either forward departs this summer, Dembele is the man Arsenal are considering to fill the void.

The 23-year-old former Fulham ace has scored 42 times since his £19million move from Celtic.
However, Arteta would face fierce competition for the striker’s signature.
Paris Saint-Germain are reported to be “seeking a competitor to Mauro Icardi” with Edinson Cavani due to leave.
Discussing Aubameyang’s future, Arteta says he believes the Gabon hotshot “can see what we are trying to do” and wants to stay in North London.
