Mr Price Yamoah appointed Chief Executive Office of Danadams Pharmaceuticals

Accra July 30, GNA - Mr Price Yamoah has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Danadams Pharmaceuticals, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Ghana.
His appointment comes after the Dr Yaw Adu Gemfi, retirement as the Chief Executive Officer of the Danpong Group of Companies.
Mr Yamoah is an industrial engineer with over 20 years work experience mainly in the manufacturing, mining and services sector.
He holds Master's Degree in Business Administration in Supply Chain Management option from the Ghana Institute Management and Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Mr Yamoah was awarded a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Diploma from Takoradi Polytechnic as well as several electrical and Telecommunications Certifications.
In 2011, the Association invited him for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) for a programme on Quality Problem Solving (PQPS) course at the Tokyo Kenshu Centre, in Tokyo, Japan.
He practiced Total Quality Management principles, had a hands-on management style and could be best described as a strong problem-solver who was passionate about getting teams to deliver their most effective results.
Mr Yamoah had expertise in Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Warehousing, Sales Planning, as well as Manufacturing and Engineering in quality-controlled production environments.
Within his manufacturing roles, he had demonstrated knowledge of cGMP, Autonomous Maintenance and Quality Audit processes, and had received training both locally and internationally.
The hallmark of his career success so far had been as an excellent team player using integrated skills, and his ability to achieve business results.
In the past, Mr Yamoah worked with Unilever Ghana Ltd and received training in Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM).
Since joining Danadams, he had introduced TPM concept and other programmes across the company, including six sigma tool, a problem-solving technique that had brought about huge cost savings whiles improving standards in manufacturing.
