“SWEET GIRL” The Netflix feature film “Sweet Girl” is seeking talent for background roles as a mother and her kids. The film stars Jason Momoa (“Aquaman”) as a husband “who vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death.” The production wants Asian, Indian, or Middle Eastern female talent, aged 30–49, to play the mother and male talent, aged 8–12, to play her two kids. “UNTITLED FRED HAMPTON PROJECT” A Warner Bros. feature about the assassinated Black Panther activist Fred Hampton is casting talent for background roles. The film stars Daniel Kaluuya and LaKeith Stanfield and is a period piece set in the ’60s–’70s. The production wants black, Latino, Hispanic, or white male talent, aged 30–69, with period hairstyles to play FBI agents. Shooting will take place on Dec. 9 in Cleveland, OH. The show is seeking people in a great relationship where they haven’t been introduced to their partner’s family and friends yet, or never see them, and it feels like they’re being kept hidden. “THE NEIGHBORHOOD ARCHEOLOGIST” A digital reality series for Tastemade, “The Neighborhood Archeologist,” is looking for real-life first time home buyers. The show wants talent, aged 18–40, seeking to purchase their first house in San Antonio, Raleigh, Colorado Springs, or Los Angeles. Shooting will take place from Feb.–March 2020. LOCAL FURNITURE STORE COMMERCIAL A local commercial for a furniture store is seeking talent with comedy experience to play principals. The comedic spot shows a couple so comfortable at Toms-Price furniture store, that it leaves sales rep Dennis in an awkward position. The production wants white male and female talent, aged 45–55, to play the husband and wife and white male talent, aged 28–35, to play Dennis. Auditions are by appointment on Dec. 13 in Chicago, IL.
