Eden Hazard Injury Update: Player Undergoes Successful Surgery
March. 06, 2020
Real Madrid ace Eden Hazard is set to be on the sidelines for sometime after undergoing successful surgery on his broken foot on Thursday in the United States.
Hazard suffered a fracture to his ankle during Madrid's surprise defeat to Levante last month and was absent for last week's Champions League 2-1 first-leg defeat to Manchester City at the Bernabeu.
The Belgian was marking his second start after being on the sidelines for almost three months with a fracture on the same foot.

"Hazard will now remain under observation until he gets the all-clear to begin his rehabilitation process," a statement from Madrid read.
The 29-year-old signed for the Los Blancos for a fee that could exceed £150m from Premier League side Chelsea last summer. He has been rocked with injuries and has managed to just make 15 appearances for the Spanish giants while netting a single goal.
