AMAZING: Usain Bolt Announces He Is About To Become A Father [DETAILS]
March. 11, 2020
Sprint legend Usain Bolt has revealed that he is about to be a father to a girl with long time partner Kasi Bennett.
The 100m, 200m and 4*100m world record holder, 33, who retired from the athletics back in 2017, made the announcement at a gender reveal party on Monday.
The party, held at Peter's Rock in Kingston, Jamaica, featured beautiful firework displays and was attended by a host of celebrities.
In a video posted on social media, Bolt said: "I just did the reveal and I'm a girl dad."
He went further to send warning shots to any future/potential boyfriends for Kasi Bennett, adding: "Any man, any boy, don't play with me!"
Bolt and Bennett have been partners for six years with their relationship relatively quiet until towards the end of the sprinter's career.
The pair announced that they were expecting a child in January and were eager to shout about the gender this week.
The party was themed with pictures and video of the couple together over the years before a countdown was used to reveal the identity of their child and fireworks were set off.
Back in 2016, when questioned about relationship Bolt said: "I'm not going to tell you who she is, I want to keep it small for now, because I know when it gets out there's going to be a lot of things to say, and I told her she can't handle it.
"Because I've been through the media. I understand how you guys are – especially the British media."
