Nottingham Forest And Olympiacos Owner Announces He Has Contracted Corona Virus
March. 11, 2020
Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has announced he has contracted the deadly coronavirus.
The 52-year-old owns football clubs Olympiacos in Greece and Nottingham Forest in England and he was even in Friday night's Sky Bet Championship match against Millwall where he is reported to have met the first-team squad.
He took on Instagram today to announce his illness and inform people that he is now in self-isolation as ordered by his doctors.
His Greek side Olympiacos bundled Arsenal out of the Europa League and they are to host Wolves in the last-16 first-leg tie on Thursday but after Marinakis' revelation, there is uncertainty over how the authorities will respond. But as it stands, the match is still on.
