Real Madrid will only bid for Sadio Mane if he hands in a transfer request, according to reports.
The Liverpool forward has scored 11 goals since the turn of the year as Jurgen Klopp’s men lead Premier League leaders Manchester City by two points, having played a game more.
His goalscoring form has alerted Real Madrid, whose squad is set for a revamp this summer.
Los Blancos are also believed to be interested in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
And Spanish outlet El Confidencial claim the pair would cost a combined total of £215million.
The report adds that both players want to play for Real boss Zinedine Zidane.
But the club will only make a move for Mane or Pogba if either player hands in a transfer request.
Mane signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool in November and said joining the Reds was the ‘best decision of my career’.
He added: “I am very happy, very happy to extend my time at Liverpool .
“It is a great day for me and now I am looking forward to everything – to helping the team, to helping the club achieve our dreams and, especially, to win trophies.
