Courtois ‘p***** off’ with Hazard after ex-Chelsea ace gives ball away on Real Madrid debut and fails to score
Sept. 16, 2019
EDEN HAZARD made his Real Madrid debut - and "p***** off" goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for giving away the ball and failing to score.
Los Blancos made a flying start to lead 3-0 at half-time against Levante.
But the visitors scored twice in the second half to threaten an almighty comeback at the Bernabeu.
Boss Zinedine Zidane brought Hazard on for defensive midfielder Casemiro on the hour mark.
Hazard , 28, picked up a thigh injury in pre-season and therefore hadn't featured in a competitive game until yesterday.
And when he did, he failed to impress goalkeeper Courtois, with the pair reunited after their time together at Chelsea.
Courtois told Movistar: "He almost scored a goal with what he did (in attack). He has a lot of pace with the ball, it's what he does.
"But I got a little p***** off with him because he lost the ball twice."

Real Madrid won one and drew two of their opening three La Liga games.
The victory - secured by Courtois, as he was keen to make clear - takes the Bernabeu club up to second, a point behind Atletico Madrid.
Courtois added: "We were thinking of a clean sheet at half-time. Sometimes we have to continue in the same way, but we didn't do that after the break.
"It became 3-1 and then 3-2 and we knew we couldn't drop points again. In the end, I was able to make the stop to save us.
"If we kept going like in the first half, with all due respect, we would have won 5-0 or 6-0.
"We played our best 45 minutes of the year, but this is football. Levante changed their system and we lacked precision with our passing."
