Former Treasury CS Henry Rotich
Gatundu South MP, who sits on the parliamentary budget committee, admitted that the Legislature together with the Executive arms of government have failed in containing the country’s ballooning debt and have apparently been lying to the country and for this reason committed treason.
Speaking on the Morning Show In Citizen Tv, Moses Kuria stated that Former Treasury CS Mr Rotich and Thugge have committed treason.
“I want my good friend Mr. Rotich and Mr. Thugge to look Kenyans in the eye and say they have committed treason for seven years. Institutions like World Bank have offered us loans for 1% but because there was no opportunity for kickbacks we have refused their money and gone for loans being offered at 9% and 10% interest rates.”

According to Moses Kuria, they will actually burn in hell for betraying Kenyans after they elected and trusted them with the economy.
“Because institutions like the World Bank, African Development Bank and other multilateral lenders have no opportunities for kickbacks, we refuse their money and go for 9 per cent and 10 per cent. Tell me whether these people will not burn in hell?”
Kuria makes it clear that former President Mwai Kibaki left the country with an average tenure of 10 years but they have lavished all that and left the country in debts.

“Kibaki left us with an average tenure of 10 years money, we have dropped that to 4% meaning that we have lost all of our constitutionality” Kuria said
The Gatundu South MP urged his colleagues in parliament to admit that they were wrong and that the country was in a debt trap.
