Mum hailed a genius as she attaches straws to end of vacuum cleaner to get into tricky corners

IT'S the chore we always find ourselves putting off - but when we get into it, hoovering the carpets can actually pretty satisfying.
That is, until you're struggling to reach that epic dust bunny lingering in an unreachable corner of the room. Sound familiar?
Well rather than having an absolute meltdown (been there), one savvy mum has revealed how a bunch of straws could come to the rescue.
Posting on the Facebook group Mums Who Clean, she wrote: "Had to share this hack! Straws!!! Brilliant to put at the end of a vacuum nozzle."
The woman simply grabbed a handful of her children's straws, grouped them together with a hair tie and slotted them into the top of her vacuum cleaner.
"Great for tricky areas," she wrote. "Also great for cars in tight spots and won’t pick up coins etc!"
Demonstrating the straw nozzle in action, the mum posted a photo of her using it to clean in all her doorframe's nooks and crannies.
Unsurprisingly, the post has racked up hundreds of "likes" - and other members in the group labelled it a "life-changer".
"This is amazing," one wrote. "I still can’t believe they haven’t made a nozzle yet for window and door tracks!"
Another added: "This is the solution to my life problems!!"
A third gushed: "What am amazing idea , now I can do my windows tracks, Dyson should bring something like this out."
