WCB President Diamond Platnumz and Rhumba Maestro Koffi Olomide have a set a new record in the Entertainment Industry after their new song “WAAAH” garnered over 1 million views in 8 hours and 2 million views in 13 hours on YouTube. This is new milestone to be achieved by an African artiste basing on the fact that the Waah video has managed to clock over 2 million in less than 24 hours.
41 minutes ago, Diamond Platnumz took to his Instagram page to share a screenshot.
He captioned it,
"#MusicVideosTrendingWorldwide Thank you so much for the Love and Support on my new song #WAAH ft @koffiolomide_officiel🙏 full video link in BIO!."
After Diamond made this post, 706 netizens have already commented and from majority of their reactions, most of them acted surprised.
Most netizens acted surprised because there is no artiste in Africa that has trended number one in 5 countries non other than Diamond, and as you read this, the song has only been out for 22 hours.
The screenshot shows that Diamond is trending number one in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Qatar and Zimbabwe. What a time to be alive. This is now taking our East African sound global.
Imagine, the song is trending in 50 countries. 50 countries with a population of millions of people who now already know bongo Flava sound.
Let's give credit where its due. Diamond deserves all the respect and appreciation from the media to the fans. He is out here inspiring people that you can achieve whatever you put your mind into, just believe in yourself work hard, put God first and you'll achieve it.
However, some netizens were surprised to an extent of alleging that this numbers are not normal and Diamond could only pull them through the powers of Illuminati.
Why can't people just appreciate someone's hardwork. Do they mean that our God is not powerful? That you can't pull such numbers without God's power? Let's stop giving illuminati credits that they don't deserve. If you work hard and believe in God, you will break every record set under the sun.
