Having topped the league phase table and qualified directly to the Round of 16, Liverpool now await their fate as the Reds will find out their pathway to the trophy in the upcoming Champions League knockout draw.
Arne Slot leads his team back into the competition this season after they finished third in the Premier League under former boss Jurgen Klopp in 2023/24.
The Reds are the most successful English side in Champions League history, with two title wins, and six overall including its predecessor the UEFA European Cup.
Having navigated the first half successfully in UEFA's new and expanded tournament, Slot now looks to do the tough part in the unforgiving knockout stage.

With the new Champions League format constructing nearly the entire bracket ahead of the knockout phase, we can discern the possible future opponents for each club should they progress through the competition.
The Round of 16 draw will be held on Feb. 21, 2025 and will determine the seeded positions for each top eight finisher from the league phase. After this, the entire bracket will be set in stone and the pathway for every club will be known.
