Crews douse overnight fire in Cumberland home

Firefighters were able to quickly douse a fire in a bungalow in Cumberland overnight.
Ottawa fire dispatch received multiple calls at approximately 2:30 a.m. Saturday for a fire in a single family home at 928 Cameron Street.
Callers reported flames were visible from the back of the home and through the roof.
When firefighters arrived they declared a “working fire”. Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly.
Fire crews were still on the seen early Saturday morning.
There are no injuries reported.
A fire investigator has been dispatched to the scene to determine the cause.
The Canadian Red Cross will be assisting those affected by this incident.
