See how what Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos said about Super Eagles and Senegal teams ahead of Brazil international friendly matches in Singapore National Stadium.
The 25-year-old center-back will part of Selecao squad will take on Teranga Lions on October 10 and Nigeria three days later in the same venue in two international friendlies in the Asain nation.
Paris Saint-Germain star Marquinhos has now pointed out the importance of beating the Super Eagles and Senegal when asked about the two West African nations he told press conference:
"I know a lot and know their qualities. Senegal is the runner-up of the Africa Cup, a very intense, difficult team.
"We have to make a big game, impose our rhythm. They are very intense opponents, aggressive, with physical imposition and the technical game too.
"We see great players playing in the major European Leagues, many of them in France”.
Marquinhos was one of 11 Brazil players who arrived in Singapore yesterday morning with the others were Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho, Fabinho, Eder Militao, Lucas Paqueta, Casemiro, Thiago Silva, Richarlison, Dani Alves and Neymar.
Senegal and Nigeria finished in the top three positions at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt as both teams ranked 20th and 34th respectively in the latest FIFA ranking.
