[Updated]Gov Abdulrazak's Chief of Staff held by EFCC over illegal withdrawal from Kwara revenue board

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday detained the Kwara State Government Chief of Staff Aminu Logun over allegations of campaign slush funds received from the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service build up to 2019 General elections.
According to reports reaching TheNEwsGuru, TNG, Logun is being investigated for receiving an undisclosed sum from Kwara State Internal Revenue (KWIRS) as a part donation to the Governorship Campaign of the Kwara State Abdulrahaman Abdulrahman.
Reports have it that, Logun arrived at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ilorin Zonal office at about 12 noon on Tuesday, and has since undergone serious questioning and scrutiny by the EFCC operatives.
An Operative of the EFCC who opted to speak under anonymity disclosed that it is uncertain if Logun will be released anytime soon, considering the weight of the allegation.
However, efforts by the Kwara State Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman to frustrate the probe proved abortive.
It was gathered that the operatives of the EFCC Ilorin Zonal Office who would not compromise, vowed to go ahead with the investigation and will not submit to any attempt by the government to truncate the probe.
