BREAKING: Is It True Akeredolu Had Coronavirus 3 Weeks Before He Announced?
Jul 7, 2020
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State announced on June 30th that he had tested positive for COVID-19. This news caused political tensions between Akeredolu and his deputy, Agboola. Agboola had told Akeredolu to hand over to him while he (Akeredolu) gets treated but the governor through his aides made it clear that that wasn't going to happen.
However, a week after the governor announced he tested positive for COVID-19, Sahara Reporters in an exclusive claimed that Akeredolu had tested positive for Coronavirus three weeks before he came out to announce it. The online medium claimed that he hid this from the public because of political exigencies.

Both Akeredolu and the late Commissioner for Health in Ondo, Wahaab Adegbenro, both tested positive for the virus at the same time and were on drugs without the knowledge of the public until the latter died, Sahara Reporters claims. The paper claims that Akeredolu had physical contact with people during this time.
