WIZKID Demands $100M From Disney After Video Collab With Beyonce - Does He Deserve It?

Earlier today, Nigeria and all of Africa celebrated the exploits of Ghanaian artiste, Shatta Wale, who featured in a single with Beyoncé titled 'Already'. However, it now seems that congratulations are in order for a fellow African music giant.

When Beyoncé's The Lion King: The Gift album was released last year, Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid, was among the list African A-listers to collaborate on the project.
Wizkid jumped on Beyoncé's 'Brown Skin Girl' alongside Blue Ivy and Saint Jhn to give the song that magical Afro-reggae fusion of his. Fans and followers of the Starboy and Queen Bey have been hyper today as it now appears that a music video for 'Brown Skin Girl' is set to be released.

On Friday, July 31, 2020, Beyoncé teased the video for 'Brown Skin Girl.' The video for the BET Her Award-winning song comes after Beyoncé's visual album, 'Black Is King' was released on Disney+.

It is obvious that the teaser for the video seems to greatly excite Wizkid as he tweeted about it in the cheekiest of manners today.
On November 11, 2019, news broke that the Nigerian superstar and Beyoncé had started shooting the music video for fan-favourite, 'Brown Skin Girl.'

Shooting commenced on October 31, 2019, for the video which was shot in a number of locations across London. Some of them are Catford and Thamesmead.

Back to Wizkid's reaction to the visual teaser for 'Brown Skin Girl,' the 'Joro' singer tweeted about it by saying that his work on the video is worth a whopping amount of $100 million.
"Good day to wake up! Disney owe me $100M !!" he wrote.

It is, however, unclear if Wizkid was being serious about the demand as he is known to be quite playful with his followers on Twitter.
However, judging from his amazing vocals and stunning appearance on the video for 'Brown Skin Girl,' we can very much conclude that the Starboy killed it beyond expectations.
